Most teens and adults with misaligned, crowded, or spaced teeth are good candidates. During your free exam, we’ll evaluate your bite, jaw health, and oral health to confirm. In rare cases, we might recommend aligners or even a hybrid plan.
Treatment typically ranges from 18 to 30 months, depending on severity, age, and compliance. After your initial exam, your orthodontist will give a personalized estimate.
You may feel mild pressure or discomfort for a few days after braces are placed or tightened. This is normal. Over-the-counter pain relievers usually manage it. We also provide wax to ease irritation.
Typically, every 6 to 8 weeks and eventually every 10 to 12 weeks. During these visits, we’ll tighten or adjust the wires, check your progress, and ensure treatment is staying on track.
Yes! We offer traditional metal and clear/ceramic brackets. For both options, we have a wide palette of colored bands you can switch at adjustment appointments—even seasonal colors.
Avoid hard, sticky, or crunchy foods until you can be seen. Call our office right away — we’ll reserve a repair visit. Don’t ignore it, because broken components can slow or derail progress.
Braces cost varies by case complexity and treatment time. We accept most PPO dental insurance plans — we’ll check your benefits before or at the consult. For uncovered costs, we offer flexible payment plans, HSA/FSA support, and zero-interest financing with no credit check.
You’ll receive custom retainers to maintain your new alignment. You’ll wear them full-time initially, then transition to nighttime wear. We also schedule periodic checkups to monitor retention stability.
Teeth can naturally shift over time, even after treatment. That’s why wearing your retainers as directed is essential. Movement usually occurs if you don't wear your retainers as directed by our orthodontist. If movement occurs, we’ll evaluate your smile and discuss the best options for correction — which may include new retainers or additional treatment.
Absolutely. Your treatment is supervised by a certified orthodontist, using proven techniques. We monitor progress and make adjustments to ensure safe, controlled movement.
